What's your hero's name?
« on: November 14, 2014, 12:18:38 AM »
I'll start. Mine's Vorbis. It's named after the format of our sound files (MP3 would be a pretty odd hero name!) It's also apparently a character in Discworld, but I haven't read that.

I went with Breaker - awesome nickname given to a character in Brent Weeks' The Blinding Knife.

Is Oberon the Shakespeare Oberon?

Never heard of The Blinding Knife before - how is it?

You never read Discworld? Shame! Though I can't say I remember Vorbis.. Apparently not from Ankh Morpork.

If I'm not Aeval - the faerie queen who of Munster who declared that married men must attend to their wives better - then I'm Litto - an easily confused guy character I created a long looong time ago.

The Blinding Knife is the second book in the Lightbringer series and they're all amazing, Brent Weeks really can create magic.
